when you're shooting through them, you need as many spares as you can fit on there.

In the mid-80's I was driving up a dirt road along the East/West German border during a snowstorm - 6" or so on the ground, road such as it was, unplowed. We were in an M151A1 military jeep. I should add that I owned an Audi 4000S at the time.

An Audi came up behind us and I told the driver "Go ahead and let this ahole by - even though we'll have to pull him out of the ditch 100m up the road."

The guy took off and as he went around to the left and uphill, I saw the rear inside wheel spin. Quattro! It was cool.

Also remember seeing my first Audi 200 Turbo in Munich on the A3 Autobahn - he passed us at a good 200kmh - in the fog.

I love Quattro. I always wanted it, and now have it on my A5 Sportback.

We had our first snow here last week. Quattro and wintertyres ... a great combination

The Mazda 323 was nice but I still prefer it's rival.

We’ve said it before, but it bears repeating; the GS handles in ways a two-story building was never meant to.

Taking collections for Faye Butler Training please spare some change.

This is my current AWD family truckster. Not as sporty as my old WRX wagon but easily the nicest car I have ever owned. Also it fits me, my wife, two car seats, our dog(lab), and all of our gear.
