Fellow Inmates,

I'm going to be headed over to Stuttgart about the middle of March. I'd love any input on ridding buddies, riding locations, or just riding

I've had or ridden most bikes out there, currently on a 07 KLR (ditch magnet) and a '11 Husky TE310 (the mistress). I live in Hell Paso, TX, so most of my riding is rocks and sand, which translates to "ride, drop and repeat." Looking forward to trying out some of the Euro-Dirt!

Should I bring either of my bikes for the riding that y'all do, or should I just pick one up while I'm over there. I know that thumpers aren't the bike of choice over there, so I'm leaning more towards leaving mine and picking up either a KTM, Tiger or GSA.

Any input would be appreciated. Looking forward to bikes, beer, and new friends.

-Cheers

DD- There is Enduro Dirt in Germany but it's verboten (in fact verboten is the most used word in Germany).

If you are coming over on orders (military, DoD civilian, or diplomatic) Uwe @ bmwmotorcycles.de sells new BMW bikes and you can order to spec.

PM if you need more info.

Chris
