Day trip to a vintage motorcycle museum with my brother
Here's a short RR for my weekend ride. No dirt - sorry
![]() A few months ago, my brother Han bought a 1999 Honda CBR600F4 with a rusted out gas tank and the most heavily varnished carburetors I've ever seen. It's taken a while but we got the bike running with some elbow grease and some new parts. We decided to take her to Solvang to the Vintage Motorcycle Museum as her maiden voyage with Han. After a hundred miles on the slab I pulled off in Camerillo to take a break and get something to eat:![]() After brunch, we pushed north along the 101 and the skies cleared and it warmed up just enough to remind why I love California. We got off the 101 and jumped onto Scenic Byway 154 passing through rolling hills with beautiful vistas. We stopped at Lake Cachuma for another break and to use the facilities since the burritos from Taqueria Padillo where fighting back. Is this REALLY November? ![]() ![]() The girls sun bathing. ![]() Han's never been to the motorcycle museum before so he's in awe. This old girl caught our attention. Check out the wood rims!: ![]() I didn't see this the last time I was there: ![]() My brother with his new ride on our way home on route 154. I'll make him an ADV'er yet! ![]() ![]() We hightail it home before it starts to rain and get any colder. I can't wait to for the next ride with my brother.
