Riders coming in at the option point - Devil's Backbone or the easy way.

Chainsaw has a flat and the crew goes to work.

The "easy" way still has a nice little stair step downhill to keep it interesting.

Where Box Canyon starts we hit our first traffic. Fortunately most of the traffic today was courteous.

With the flat, we ended up being the last group to Martinez Cabin.

The ever-evolving trail in is a little rocky...

Great scenery on the way to the cabins.

Cyberdos is on his tail!

Cyberdos gets a smooth ride by levitating above the bike.

With only one nut holding the bars to the triple clamps, the other nut (between the seat and handlebars) has to *will* the bike through the rocky terrain.

NDTransplant

Dillon

Big-E

And the bottleneck forms.

It's always that last little section that gets ya!

But everybody made it through to the cabins!

Great pics! That was easily in one of the top three rides I've ever done in 36 years of riding. Had a great time. The scenery, camaraderie, challenge, were all top of the line.

Good times... I rode out with Nightstalkers group. I took the lead a times and sweep when needed. I was worried that such a large group could be real hard to manage, but it worked out great.. . AZ winter riding is hard to beat.

more pics

These are photos from Alan. Tall rider on KTM 525.
Uncle Mil T presented a trophy to 4Play (Buddy) for the incident of the Javelina running out and hitting him a few months back when he broke his leg and tore up his knee. It is the AJH's (Arizona Javelina Hater's) new perpetual trophy where the present holder gets to hand it off to a person that they feel should be the next deserving receipient for injuries unbecoming. Rattlecan was so upset that he was not the first recipient because of his broken hip last year that he decided after the Coke Oven's to fall down and hurt his wrist and hand. He's going to have to do better than that though.

Uncle Mil T and Dillon. Mechanics extrodinare fixing ChainSaws flat tire.

Hi Brad. How's that new ride working out for ya?? You know you have to be on the other side of the handlebars on the seat. It rides much better that way.

Giving the bike a rest.

Oldtimertc making it look easy.

new ride

Hey Mil T........the new ride is working out great. I just needed the long legs like Alan had to get back on the bike after taking some pics of this nasty rock section. I was stuck until I cleared a rock and used it as a step to get back on the bike....
