trough the Balkans off road

First, thanks to all members, who post here his reports.
because we can use to request information to prepair our trips. and sorry for my poor english so more pics than words in this report

The plan; visit Balkans, all as possible off road and very small roads. Later, we realized that this is very easy.

Those are the maps we used for this trip, ok and a almost broken gps.

For us, Balkans are one of the better places on Europe for a "trail" travel.
There are a lot of small roads and tracks.

beautiful landscapes

history and old culture

good food. cheap compare with west Europe

friendly people

mysterious places

and more.......
only you must be careful in some plces, off road with the fuck..ng mines

next, first day....

I was already wondering where you spend the summer this year.
Keep it coming.

Thumb Subscribed!

How beautiful! It has been many years since I have been there, to many. I spent most of my time in a 70km radius of Brcko, any pics you have of this area ... This is one RR I will not miss!

The day was really hot, near to 35c, we used refuel stops for drink something

so in the middle of the day, we decide to take a break on a small river.

we refresh and eat something, for more than 2 hours

we arrive to Sort by night and go to eat tipycal Catalonian food on a well known good restaurant

Day 2. Sort (Catalonian pirines) to Sestriere (Italian Alps). 780kms.

Second day was really hot too. Drive trough south France was like a hell, full of trafic and about 40c.

Camping "Noguera Pallaresa" at Sort. ( some adv riders know well this place

I tell you before that was hot?? . France.

Day, 3. Sestriere (It) to Fondo (near Bolzano, It). 470kms.

Yesterday we drive till night, and we sleep on a nice place on mountains. The place in the morning looks better.

the night was cold, because the altitude. breakfast in the sun, was nice

Today again was very hot, more on south Italy out of mountains. This was the day with more trafic in all the trip. we take other swing on a cold water river, in "Ponte di Legno" Dolomity

Day,4. Fondo to Maribor (SLO) 510kms.

today, we want to visit our Slovenian friends Matej and Violeta.
Matej, runs a suzuki - husqvarna (ex KTM), dealer in Maribor. We go there to change our tires for more knobbies "Karoos".

Nice and quiet campsite in Fondo

Patri this winter had a very tough fight with "fes fes" in Moroko, so we do 3-4 oil changes with 2000kms each.

Matej servicing Patris bike

Meantime, I change my tires

Good job Matej
