Sorry again for big delay.

Day 11. Sator (bos) to Prokosko jezero on Travika mountains (bos). 260kms.

Today we ride lots off road, 230kms and we need 10 hours.
some fast tracks and other more sinuous.

our past night campsite

trough the forest

open and fast tracks

More destroyed houses. You can find everywhere in Bosnia

you can find those good tracks on the map. and in your gps if is working

we leave the main track and took a smaller and more fun one

When we were far from main track, we listened a big explosion. less far than 0ne km from us

After, some locals tell us, that maybe was a big animal fallin on a big mine

We continue more cautious, Patri first.........

This small and semi abandoned track was really fun

Some kms later, the track goes inside a dense forest With lots of mud and big ruts from machines for cut trees

Patri sais that maybe is better to go back
Basque, go back??? nooooo!! I said

Some kms later the track gets impossible. so, now back

We need some hours to take the bikes out of forest.
Patri was tired and thinking " I tell you before"

people is rebuilding some villages destroyed during the war

Patri was really happy riding trough Bosnia on all kind of tracks

and me....

On the afternoon, we see a storm with big thunder and lightnings. and was in our direction

Under the storm, the rain was really heavy. the roads were flooded.
We find a fuel station, and we wait there while the storm finish

after the storm we continue riding

we were looking for, Prokosko Jezero (lake), on Travika mountain

the scenary was fantastic

finally we reach to Prokosko

The lake was full of small wood houses. people goes there during summer holidays
some lovely children

we only met good people on Balkans.
soon more.
