Not sure if I missed this, but will you be doing Slovenia too ?

I will take the 1150GS there this summer, and I am looking to get some nice prviews ;-)

Day 18. Virpazar, montenegro to Slano, croatia. 350 km.

Our today itinerary is all tarmac . we want visit the "must see" Dubrovnic in croatia.
we change, our last days quiet mountains with lonely and nice tracks for full cars roads in Montenegro and Croatia coast .
first, we visit Lovcen national park.

this day, we were not feeling good, in very touristic and full of people coast

our night camp in Virpazar


nice village in Montenegro


crazy drunk driver

Dubrovnik. if you want to visit and you dont like agglomerations dont go on summer
finally we decided dont go in


we finish our strange day, with a good dinner in Slano, a quiet coast village in Croatia

after yesterdays crazy day, patri were not feeling good with severe headache.

we rest one day at slano campsite and beach

I've been there two years ago. Is the most "european", of Balkans.

for me the best is the north, the Alps...... you have really nice mountain roads between Italy and Slovenia (example. Tanamea pass), and the rest of Slovenian alps

For climbing in Slovenia there is popular place called Osp, near Slovenian coast.
