I called my bank yesterday and they are on the case from now on. I was lucky enough to get most of the parts and tools etc that made up most of the cost of the ticket..... just missing the KTM racing pacifier and baby bottle...

Running a business Incompetently does not equal dishonestly. Just do a CC chargeback.

Well...accepting orders without intent or ability to fulfill certainly does. And based on the experiences in this thread alone, I suspect that's happened. Clearly they accepted orders for OEM KTM parts AFTER they lost their affiliation- that means they did not have the authorization to sell KTM parts.

More important- it has become common to use DEBIT cards for online transactions- they work just like CREDIT cards, right? Yes, as long as the transaction is successful. But a DEBIT card does not have the same protections as a CREDIT card, and I'll bet there will be folks who have lost money because of this mess.

This is awesome. I ordered parts in February, didn't hear from them in a months time. So I called them and they said they were just receiving the last few parts and they would ship my whole order out in two days. Waited four day's and didn't get a email so I called em to find out what was going on, some guy said they were waiting on some parts and they would next day the parts to me. Afew days later no word from KTM Hutt, so I called them again and the guy said that they only had five of the twenty plus items I ordered in stock. That was two months ago. I just remembered that they owe me a bunch of parts. Tried to contact they today and found that they seem to have disappeared. KTM Hutt sucks........

Just got off the phone with my bank, They are on the job now. Hope I get my $$ back so I can go buy the parts from the local dealer.

Debit cards like Visa Debit and Mastercard Debit carry the same protections as normall credit cards. I can't speak for the other types.

Like many, I wish I would have seen this thread sooner, I ordered $277.00 worth of parts on May 6th with a Debit Visa and the bank just told me tough shit there is nothing we can do a few minutes ago!
Phones and site are down and the Bastards have my cash!
