I'm curious to see how all the coaching changes at Texas will pan out. They were awful this past year, with (supposedly) a full cast of 4 and 5 star athletes.

With the defection of BSU's OC Harsin to Texas, what will happen to Boise's fun to watch offense?

I predict another SEC NC. Yawn.

As much as I "disapproved" of the early start... we couldn't have 2011 start with Roll Tidey

Auburn's BCS trophy coming to a Walmart near you Now Wally World will have more than two Auburn items.

i'd love to see some statistics in regards to whether any of these kids materialize. waiting until the last possible day to make an announcement seems immature and ridiculous.

They are immature. They're 17-18 years old. The amount of attention some of these kids get is a little scary.

It just feels a lot like the Lebron announcement. The only difference is that ESPN enables these kids and then doesn't turn around and criticize them for it. I especially hate when they put the three hats on the table and then pick one like they're on reality tv. By signing day, these kids (born in 1993) literally they're irreplaceable.

I wish some of them had a little perspective.

It is now official, nephew signed with Tulane. It has been interesting hearing bits of the whole process.

Exactly - the kid from Maryland who announced he was going to Auburn and then backed down ----the pressure is unbelieveable. I feel sorry for them.

If I was Chizik, I'd have made the decision a lot easier for him. I'd tell him that if I don't have a LOI in 24 hours he can either grey shirt or go somewhere else.

The kid who announced Auburn ended up picking Alabama. Crazy. Huge UGA fan here and was happy to see that the Dawgs landed their "Dream Team" class. Whether they can save Mark Richt's job is another story.
