Rotary Ski Night.
A beautiful night, much nicer and warmer than at home,
even though home is 4,000 feet lower.
Wierd weather these days.

Last Saturday we couldn't take this inversion any longer and even though my knee is still sore we decided to go up to the sunshine. So I grabbed the camera and off we went to Teacup. Kind of a cheesy video but I thought I would share it anyway.

Sun Valley was not sunny. Who cares!? the grooming is PRO and coverage this year is excellent. Glad I spent some time on the P40s prior.

Went to Jackson Hole from Sun Valley hoping for some new snow. Only a few inches the first day so we took off for Targhee on the second day in Wyoming. Best snow I've had this season so far!

Brother Leo in the aspens.

Skied the Wachabo trees of Sacajawea chair and had to hike a little bit back to the lift but it was very worth it.

Back at Jackson for the next 3 days, it snowed 6 or 7" but still not enough to be 'safely' launching the stones under Sublette chair.

More snow over night made for a big day - 40,000' vertical feet!?!! My legs were destroyed.

The fuschia colored lines are our tracks:

Hiked Casper ridge for the finale which was the finest snow we had at JH. Brother Leo followed by the ski patrol who closed the gate behind us.

One more shot on the way back to the condo and that was it.

Looks like you had a great trip. Thanks for taking the time to take some photos and share them.

I think you have helped inspired me to take a Big Sky, Jackson, Targhee road trip this season.
