257Bob, nice choice. how does the weestrom compare to your Harley. I just sold my Street Bob and I am considering either the weestrom or tiger.

But was the original post deleted or did you copy and paste that from another board? There's no record of PhilRio ever posting that here....weird.

At any rate I'd like to nominate this for the front page if he has a larger size copy of it.

I only have 200 miles or so on it right now but I guess I would say it exceeds my expectations.

knybanjo was nice enough to let me ride his a while back and I was pretty much sold on it then. I did go through a DR/KLR/DL debate for a couple of weeks, but after I thought seriously about the type of riding I'll be doing, the Wee was the best choice.

It's light, fairly comfortable, torquey and quiet. I think it's easy to go from a HD to one of these because of the torque; not as much riding style adjustment needed. It handles bumps and corners better than the HD; it's confidence inspiring.

I didn't ride the Tiger but I did look at them. A little bigger and top heavier than the Wee, I think.

The seat will need some work for long distance, the cover is very "grippy" and it causes some tension in places I don't care to have it, especially on hot days.

Some buffeting of the helmet, but no worse than the mess I get from the batwing on the HD. I have the adjustable bracket on order in hopes of correcting some of that.

The upright riding position doesn't seem to irritate my shoulder as much as the HD and that's a BIG plus for me.

So far overall, I'm pleased with it. It's fun as hell to ride.

The post must have been deleted. He didn't embed the pics properly that's why I fixed that in my quote. ;)
Funny... why would he/someone delete his original post...

Picture from the black wee and yellow tent in my trip Ca to Ak, 2009, 1 shoot in Kodiak and the 2 on the way back in Canada. I did something wrong when I add the picture, sorry it's my first post.

A little more than 1/2 done if I don't find anything extra. That "missing" part was mailed today...so it should be ready for a shakedown run soon.
