Hi Meathead,

I have the Wolfman Explorer..... It IS EXCELLENT, Straps on with 4 buckles.

Excellent Quality, Excellent Zipper, Map Pocket on Top, Expandable I could not be happier. 2nd one I have had (last on on my old ride)..

First I tried a marsee teardrop something.. it was highly recomended by many folks on this forum..

I hated it, plastic zippers.. cheap quality I sent it right back and got the WOLFMAN.....

Wolfman Explorer... thats the one I LOVE IT

Petei those are Kappa Soft Panniers.. I think it was Kappa TK705. A cheapone. And I had only those panniers and no need for more as you see on pics.

Soft paniers are like suitcases. Home to hotel and hotel to home because it is easy to steal something in it by opening zip.. But if you want a cheap and practical solution, I recommend those.. And it is possible to make it bigger easyly.

And meat, that tank bag is Frank Thomas Cargo Bag,

It has straps and magnets also but I do not use straps until I fully use that bag. It's a cheap solution also. Actually I dont prefer that tank bag for short trips. It causes some lines on tank surface (Because of dust between bag and tank surface). But after you opened outer zip, it has too much capacity . I and my girlfirend do not need more capacity. A givi maxia topcase, two soft paniniers as side cases and that tank bag. FUll of them and go for 15-20 days of holiday..

It has raincover but I did not like usage of that cover. Wind makes that cover a balloon and I hate that. I need to use a strip to keep raincover flat.

It has two kinds of map pocket. One of them is on top of that bag. And one of them is under of bag. If you do not want to use bag but only map holder open the zip and make the bag two pieces. One part is bag and one part(which stays on tank) is a map holder..

And an alternative use of that tankbang..

Here's my WEE-STROM. It's been so cold I haven't been able to ride it much but I got it out today and snapped some pics. I hate Winter!

Hey Rubberdown, I like the Walker Holeshot slip on. The black looks really good.
I just got my 05 today and I was thinking about the same one for mine. How do you like the sound? Also was the install a pain having to cut the pipe to make the connection? Your bike looks great BTW.

Thanks....and congrats on your new DL650. The Holeshot pipe sounds badass! Click on the link below and you can listen to the pipe on a different bike. I made the cut nice and clean with only a mini hacksaw but I did take my time. I just slipped a zip tie around the pipe where I wanted to make the cut and used it as a guide while I cut with the hacksaw. I wasn't too keen on cutting the stock pipe but I'm very happy with the way it turned out. Did I mention I'm tired of winter?
