I have to assume that's a Yes, as to the shipping. I got an email saying mine were going out no later than today.

Maybe, but the whole Shinko thing made me so incredibly wary. I've been down on a superslab, I hold a crappy tire partially accountable. If they work out great, I'm all in but pretty much I like tried and true.

Yeah. I was lucky with Shinko's. I had 3 old style 705's on my bike and never had a problem except mileage.

I have seen one recent internet post (not here) that said the rubber on the K784 "seemed much harder" than the rubber on a Karoo next to it. (In fact he said the Karoo felt like marshmallow, comparatively.) But, I also read to expect TKC type wear. Uhhhh....that won't be good for me. lol. I am exceedingly rough on tires and will be trying to modify my style (or lack there of) to try to get 3k out of them. Yeah. I'll probably fail at that, but it sounds good. ;)

I know the Heidi's Scouts are more what I need but as Stills sang, "If ya can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with".

The OEM Karoos on my 950SE were great. I was able to baby 1000 miles out of them.......
I hope the Kendas are harder.

Yeah. Great. I'm sure I will regret my experiment soon enough but right now I'm basking in my blissful ignorance.

Don't regret it ! You've got me thinking about getting them, and I don't even NEED them on the GSA, what with having the 950SE.

My comments were meant to bolster your confidence.

Courier says Monday now for me. Something about snow. Was hoping to get a look at them.

Well, the experiments have arrived. Look good. Rear looks huge compared to the Tourance. We shall see how they do. Hopefully on (and bike back together) by the weekend.

Could you hurry up and put a few thousand mile on them so we can get a wear report before spring?
