I see that you are currently out of stock of the XL Ergo Pro suit.

Do you have an anticipated date of availability?

Also, if that date is beyond April 9th would you honor an order placed for the suit on/before April 9th even if it is not available at that time?

Do you charge the credit card at the time of order or the time of availability/shipping?

Would you use regular postal service to ship the suit if I requested it so I can attempt to avoid the fees that UPS and Fedex charge at this end? I would be happy to pay the difference in cost between Deutsche Post and UPS/Fedex.

Seems you're kind of lucky!: suit in XL will be available right today (few hours from now).

Regarding delivery, I remind you standard UPS delivery is free; if you need more info ask to my colleagues at info service@spidi.com they're very quick in replying.

Hello Matteo,

I'm interested in the Spidi Carbo Track gloves. My local cycle shop here in the USA does not have them in stock and tells me they have not been released yet.

However, I have contacted a European cycle shop and they claim to have the gloves in stock, ready to ship.

Have they indeed been released in the USA/North American market and my dealer simply doesn't have any? If not, do you know when the delivery date will be?

Hi 9mmkungfu,

Carbo Track were supposed to be in shops early January this year, but late small modifies -related to the comfort of the palm- delayed the arrival to the market; you will find them in shops around the world (in USA too) from April 16th.
These gloves have been developed from MotoGP and WSBK riders since early 2011: here're some images of Carbo Track tested from Dovizioso - Monster Yamaha MotoGP Team during last MotoGP winter test:

So does that mean that the European cycle shop I contacted was incorrect when they stated they had the gloves in stock and ready to ship? They have them listed on their website and ready to purchase. I contacted them to verify that they are indeed in stock and they confirmed it. I found it odd that they had them when no one else does.

I don't understand what European cycle stays for (is it a shop' name?).
Anyway, they just cannot have Carbo Track in stock (maybe misunderstanding with Carbo 3?).

Could you please confirm a few things:

The Ergo Pro Suit is basically the same as buying the jacket and pants separately but in a different color (so it is a two piece suit not a one piece, correct)?

I see you offer a slightly less adventurous version of the jacket but sadly not in the Ice color; will that change in the near future?

Is there a dealer in the USA that currently stocks the SUIT?

In terms of the materials used, how does the Marathon differ from the Ergo Pro? I am thinking abrasion resistance in particular.

Hi Morris.

Suit is jacket + pants correct.
You can't buy ice jacket only.
You can't find suit in US.
Marathon external fabric is 2-layer, Ergo's is 3-layer.
Ergo's not only is more resistant, it's even CE certified at level 2. This is the maximum certification a Motorcycle jacket can have at the moment, and very few jackets around obtained it. You can find more info on fabric and certification at this link.

Just to give you a suggestion: if you prefer, you can ask revzilla to place a "special order", they could probably have the Ergo suit arrive in around 15 days.
