Hi Balázs,
you're totally right. The VTM pants has been concieved for colder climates; however, the H2Out waterproof/breathable membrane of the Hurricane pants will be easily insulate you from temperature around 10° Celsius.
Good choice, let me know how you like your new gear.

Hi Matteo,
just a quick advice for a SPIDI Airtech Armor: I'm 1m73 for 79Kg, bit of broad shoulders/chest/back (chest is 102cm). Which size should I go for ?

I'm asking as I live in France(*) and I'm having trouble finding a nearby store, so I'm planning to buy online.

MaX.

P.S.
But that's not a big issue, as I'm italian

Dear HornetMax, how are you doing?
According to your size I would get an Airtech Armor in size L. That you you will have the right/snug fit this jacket is ment to have.

About the stores in France, have you tried using our Store Locator?

Grazie Matteo !

I was hesitating between L and XL, but it seems that at the moment, only S, L and XXL are available so ...

I checked the store locator, bot nobody in the region seem to have the Airtech Armor in store. Probably too new & bad period (holidays).

Great to see how fast and well you help people here !

MaX.

By the way Max,

the Airtech has kind of a rare size chart, it comes in 3 sizes: S,L,XL.
Here's the chart:

The armor is very much adjustable, thanks to many Velcro straps all around the torso and the arms; that's why we offer it in 3 sizes only.

Voyager 3 Jacket - Branding

Matteo, I just received the awesome Voyager 3 Jacket. I love it and I'm about to do an extensive review for the ADV community.

The only thing that I do not love about the jacket is the heavy branding, the big logo on the back and the medium/big logo on the sleeve. I know they help visibility etc, but it is not my style, too much.

So here is my idea. I would like to purchase a piece of fabric from Spidi, the same fabric used on the jacket, and use it to cover the logo. I would have a professional tailor do the job. All at my expense of course. Would you mind helping me with that?

Grazie e ciao
Daniele

Dear Daniele, how are you?
I'm glad you are happy with the beautiful Voyager 3 jacket. It is indeed a very sweet product.

As you noted all the details are conceived to provide a higher night visibility toward the riders; it would not be a good idea to cover them.

Nonetheless, since we use fabrics developed and tested in hour Safety Lab, it is impossible for us to send you some part of it.

This pants feature an amazing fabric, named Cebonnare, that is the best synthesis of strenght and ventilation. They also have two air intakes for extremely hot days. Seriously, you won't believe how much soft and elasting this tough fabric is !

Dear Divimon,
the Hi-Fit pant, unfortunately, is not coming to the States.
However, you can check its availability here.

33 would be your perfect size.

I'm sorry Divimon, but I'm afraid we don't have photo of the Hi-Fit pants worn by a model.
I'll keep you posted if I'd find one.

Hi Matteo
Below is approx. abrasion resistance result, measured in MARTINDALE CYCLES:

***********************************
Regular jeans_______ 50 cycles

Nylon 70D_________ 165 cycles
Polyester 500D_____ 180 cycles
Nylon 200D________ 275 cycles

Cordura 500D______ 710 cycles
Cordura 620D______ 1 200 cycles
Cordura 1000D_____ 1 780 cycles
Kevlar____________ 1 800 cycles

Leather___________ 1 200 do 1 700 cycles
***********************************

***********************************
______SPIDI JEANS NUMBERS:
***********************************
BASIC____________ 40 cycles
GLORIOUS________ 40 cycles
VIROUS___________ 40 cycles
FURIOUS DENIM____ 80 cycles
J&K______________ 140 cycles (keramid area, other 40 cycles)
AKI______________ 300 cycles
CRUEL___________ 400 cycles
***********************************

QUESTION 1) Does SPIDI plan to release jeans flexible like FURIOUS, with knee and hip protectors, but with abrasion resistance more like in CRUEL model?

QUESTION 2) How many cycles does outer material have in:
WARRIOR JACKET
AIRTECH
NETFORCE

Thanks & Best Regards,
Jerry

Dear Jerry,
in this right moment there are a lot of new concept and ideas we're developing.
One of these is something that might be of your real interest, but I'm not allowed to say more about it. Keep tuned on SPIDI and you'll see.

However, remember that Cruel has a very advanced ergonomic design of the knee, so to make it almost useless the use of a flex panel. Try it and you'll see.

For the second question, the answer is different. All of these three jackets are totally differen each other.

Warrior Jacket is not a proper "jacket", it's more lika motocross pressure suit, conceived to be worn under a jersey or jacket. The abrasion resistance of the fabric is not it's best requirement. It is although super brethable and transpiring. The result is around 200 revolutions.

Airtech Armor is a proper "light jacket" with a lot of ventilation, idear for summer rides. It's made with an high quality polyester and its abrasion resistance is around 350 revolutions.

Netforce is a 365days a year jacket. It features a removable H2Out waterproof and breathable membrane, a fully removable thermo-insulating lining on the inside featuring an alluminum finishin, to reflect the body heat toward the inside. The mesh used is top-notch Dynatech® Schoeller®.
This is an extremely abrasion resistant mesh and the result is around 600 revolutions-
