I love the Lotus Europa, but that twin cam motor scares me a little. Parts for the Jag probably cost more, but will be easier to find.

What size shoes do you wear? Footwell in the Europa is tiny. My size twelves had to come off if I wanted to hit only one pedal at a time.

my big europa issue, i'm 6'5" and wear a 13/14. i've sat in one before, and got myself into a form that i think i could bear for a while, but that footwell was daunting..............

If you get the Jag, nobody will ask you dumb questions at the gas station- so the Europa is definitely dumber.

Size 14?

They'll be too distracted by the clown costume to notice which car you're getting out of.

believe it or not, for a hot minute when I was 17, i owned a XJS. but an angry parent prevailed and it was relinquished to its former owner.

but yes, the Europa would definitely be a time waster at the pump.

Get the Jag.

It's a shitbox, but at least you can find mechanics and parts for that shitbox.

Only go with the Jag if the intention is to shitcan the engine and put in a smallblock Chevy.

The Lotus will probably have gremlins, but it'll be fun. You'll bond through it all.

Always had a thing for the Europa.

But don't listen to me, I drive a Triumph Stag.

The Jag is more dumb.

It probably has 3 X as many parts to need replacing.

At least with the Jag you have room to bring home some groceries.
In the Lotus, I hear it is sooo small you have to get out of it in order to change your mind.
