Kristi, I don't know whose ride reports I like better--yours or iDave's. Both of you give lots of great photography and writing worthy of soul searching moments. Thanks. Hopefully, we'll catch up soon.

Brent

Great report. This is the first of your reports I have read.....but certainly won't be the last. I can relate to your thoughts on fear, doubt, and life, I wrestle with some of the same issues.

Haha. You wrote that just as I would say it to someone. I laughed. thank you for reading it and I'm glad you enjoyed it. Texas is beautiful (about 40% of it, anyway).

Thank you very much. Those feelings of doubt and fear only ramble by me periodically, but they are paralyzing when they do. One day maybe they will no longer visit.

I took a 5 week ride this summer which I intended to put into a ride report, but I got very busy when I got home and it was really too much to write about after the fact. But it was great. It kind of mirrored a lot of the same places I wrote about back in 2008 in my Roamin' the Rockies ride report.

Even a short report like this one takes up spare time, so I thank you for taking that time to read it.

Kristi

Of course you like mine best. Just kidding. I too love iDave's reports and always watch for any new report he puts here. Yours are also on my list of 'always read'. Thanks for your encouragement Brent.

Yeah, I thought about your recent situation in relation to what I had written about last week when I read your latest report. I sure hope you get through that well and find the other side to be better than you had imagined.
You must keep writing too.

Thank You!

Kristi!

Thank you for posting this! I thoroughly enjoyed your last RR and was glad to see you with another. Your storytelling really draws one into your world, and connecting parts of our own with it, to enjoy your experiences as if we were there with you. Speaking as a photographer....your eye is amazing. Do keep it up! Travel well!

Happy to see you posting!

Between you and iDave, my reading requirements (and photography enjoyment) are fulfilled!

This report brings back good memories of enjoying the Hill Country in the late 80's. Living in San Antonio, we loved heading out there for weekends, good memories..time passes too quickly....

Thank you MGB. I'm glad you read this one so you could see some of the hil country again.
I'm actually in San Antonio today. Leaving in the morning. I'll say hello to the city for you tonight down on the riverwalk.

Interesting ride report

Thank you for a thoughtful report that included beautiful photography. My brothers and I hope to make a South Texas vacation ride in the next year or two. Your pictures certainly increase the desire.
