+1 on all the Kudos, not only to Charla but Bendito too.

We discussed making smaller, more subtle movements. Bigger movements mean more energy used to make bigger corrections. Once you're balanced you can just about stand there until you start thinking about it. I even saw Charla take her hands (BOTH hands) off the bars while balancing.... it was just for a second but she did it.

Now back to your regularly scheduled day dreaming.....

LOL, yeah I didnt watch the other videos yet, I was perplexed on how one was soo tall, compared to the others, and clicked play, going to see the others now...

I like the dual purpose RV parking and riding area, really nice!

Those other guys seem to be decent riders, how long they been at it?

Looks like with Joz, you guys are in good hands! Ben, keep it up, I dont know how many outtakes, lol. but you seem to take instructions well! and remember practice 80% on the basics 1st, then 20% for fun on the bigger stuff, I think you guys all look like fun to me! I think I need to find 2 more riders soon, to get started. It is SOOOO much fun, watching people progress through novice to intermediat (about all I can teach).

Loaded the ol' Abductor Van good and early this morning before work-

And went to B-Town for a practice after work!

Miss Bitters went along to get used to the lower gearing I put on her 315 last weekend. Looks like she took to it pretty quick-

We were joined later by NATC Expert phenom Nathan Hassler out for a "quickie practice"-

All in all, a good practice for this weekend's upcoming NMTA event. Rode for about 2 1/2 hours in 60-degree weather. Not bad for early March in Albuquerque.

Is Nathan still riding a 125?

Ah, no. GasGas 300 Pro. Sold the 125 after the last NATC event last year, got the 300, and has been untouchable (at least around here) ever since. The 125 years did him some good, as does his bicycle. He moves the 300 around effortlessly.

Lucky dogs. I would have loved to have went out this evening. Maybe I can make some when the time changes in a few weeks.

You're mean Gordy...obviously that's a very steep rock and a power pole constructed by Albuquerque's finest city employees!

When I saw the picture I thought, " My God! That rock was A LOT steeper than I remember. I guess it's okay to close your eyes. Amazing that the pole was falling at the exact moment that he took the picture....I couldn't see it. My eyes were closed. Don't worry, Gordy. You're not mean, just overly observant. Please don't score this weekend.

it is called observed trials and the trick is to make sure that the observer doesn't see your mistakes. try to make it look like you were planning on doing that and don't yell out when you go out of bounds or shout dammit when you dab most of the time they wont see it, and even if they do question it most of the time they will fold and let you off. half of the fun in riding trials is seeing what you can get away with.
if i got caught with everything that i did my score card would be in the triple digits
