Took her out for a trundle. I think my camera is on its last legs though.

Taught my son (who lives with his mother in Louisiana) how to ride a motorcycle.
![]() ![]() ![]() He took to it pretty well, even attacking a hill at the end of the afternoon... ![]() ![]() It was a great way to spend the day with my son, who I have not seen in 7 years. I think we have a convert......

![]() Well, ...my dad didn't ride motorcycles...and we haven't talked in almost 30 years. For just a second...I wished that I was your son . That's a VERY important moment in BOTH of your lives. GREAT job Chris, he will NEVER forget that experience. More will come of that. ![]()

Wow! Thanks everyone! I did not expect that kind of response.....
I guess I am pretty lucky. My dad is an avid outdoorsman, and a retired New Mexico Game and Fish officer. Us kids were taught at an early age how to hunt, fish, camp, and enjoy the outdoors. When my parents divorced, he also taught us how to ride motorcycles (Mom hates motorcycles, does to this day). In fact, he taught us on this very bike- ![]() Sorry about the poor pic, I did not feel like digging it out if it's place in the tractor barn. Anyhoo, I wanted very much to show my kids that there is more to life than school and the television. That is about all they get at their mother's. My daughter showed no interest in riding. She thought she and her step-sister would go out for a "beauty salon" day that afternoon. Shame that my step-daughter wanted to ride also and spoiled that plan.... ![]() That's my step-daughter on the XR100R. I taught her how to ride that bike about 6 years ago, and she tries to make time to go ride every chance she gets. It really was a fun day. I would sincerely like to do it again in the near future with warmer, longer days. Now to teach the boy how to WASH the bikes.........

Dragged them out for a practice on a nice Sunday in January.
NMTrailboss trying to get me to do an "Amateur" line. I don't think so.... ![]() How's about this one? Undercut, slightly off camber, not much room on top, easy right? ![]() NMTrailboss: "You think you can, go for it, Fugi! ![]() Piece of cake, right? ![]() Meanwhile, NMTB is making the bigger stuff on the other end look easy.... ![]() ![]() ![]() Try again..... ![]() ![]() Success! 'TB gives it a shot, makes it look good. ![]() Miss Bitters and Puddle Jumper watching us beat the hell out of ourselves... ![]() Great day today!
