Glad you had fun, I hope it was worth the drive.
P.S. Thanks for the apples. Mrs. Spaz is making apple pie tonight. I'm excited.

Crashed

I had my first honest to goodness crash on a trials bike Sunday. I've had a few tip-overs and that sort of thing, but this was a genuine "over the bars, holy cow this is gonna hurt" crash. Fortunately, it did not hurt (then - it does a little now). I've never liked crashes where you have time to think about impact.

I moved up a class this time and a couple of the sections had things that were a little bigger than I've ridden. I let one of them get into my head a and paid for it. I did clean that section on the last two loops.

In my years racing desert, I discovered that crashes could usually be judged by how much of the sentence, "Oh S**T, this is gonna hurt!" I could internalize before impact. With the exception of the ones featuring instant splat...

I think I know who you mean... he wasn't there, but I'm sure he will move back up by the next event. Now the pressure is all on you!

Still have your TY? My brother is in the market for a trials bike. He wants a modern, but isn't against a nice TY. I'll shoot you a PM.

Noob to trials

My new used 95 Gas Gas JT 250 got disassembled and stuffed into my impala trunk and back seat for a 350 mile ride home. Now I just need to fix 16 years of abuse. Head gaskets bad, plastic looks bad, rear brake doesnt work, but the seats real nice!!!!!. Im just going to get it working for now and tear it down for powder coating and correct repairs once the snow flies.

Dragged out my infamous garbage pile project "Outright Junk" Reflex for it's yearly washing-

Who knows, it may be entered in a Vintage event someday (Foreshadowing: Your key to quality entertainment! ).

Yeeeah, I forgot and left the camera in the Abductor (Classic) while we were out riding.

So now that's cleared up, where are your pics?
