Glad you guys had fun. We'll have to do it again in a few weeks. I'll have to clear a few more sections.
How bout' a nice easy dualsport ride next weekend, or some brutal singletrack. I'm up for either. NMtrailboss- Spikes says he's sorry he bit your ass. Quote:

I popped over the bridge into Wales and helped with setting out sections for the British Championship, and of course had a bit of a play on the rocks in the river...
First ride on the rocks for me since i dislocated my knee 9 months ago, new knee brace certainly gave me some confidence back.

Noob to trials
I missed the first day post but my new to me gas gas jt 250 from 1995 got a ride home from 350 miles away in the back seat and trunk of my Impala. Its really rough currently but once i find a set of head gasket o-rings and a rear brake reservoir I think im ready to ride till it snows. Once it snows its getting the full my way restoration. Im shooting for bigger brakes, quieter exhaust, lots of powder coating, and some niffty vinyl wrapping. I may even go as far as new spokes and colorful rims. Im really glad to finally have a trials bike and a good winter project.

I got paid to ride my trials bike today.
![]() My boss: "you have a dirt bike right?" Me: "ummm yeah I have a few" Boss: "you want to cut some trails in the back acreage?" Me: "your gonna pay me to ride my dirt bike?" Boss: "Sure" Me: "I think I can do that" We are doing a kids mountain bike clinic and we needed a place to teach the kids some mtb skills in a safe area, lucky for us we have a few unused acres that will fit the bill. I took down a few trees that got blown over in a storm a few weeks ago, I have plenty of logs to work with, so I made a few features ![]() I made a small teeter totter ![]() I piled up some logs for a little log feature. ![]() ![]() Then I got to burn in the trail so I did a few hours of loops getting a nice little trail set up.....for the kids. |
