I've been to many of the places you went on this trip and my Aunt lives near you in Apache Jct. I'm from MN (tha twin cities) as well. Whereabouts in MN are you from?

Sorry for not answering sooner but to answer your question, we live in the Park Rapids area in the summer and then in Apache Jct. in the winters. What street does your Aunt live on?

Off southern right to next to the Superstition Mountains. Apache Trail looks like some fun riding.

I missed when you were telling about where your Aunt lives but I've ridden on Southern right up to the base of the Superstitions and it's beautiful up there. One time about a dozen baby quail scampered across the road up there close to the mountain just as I was riding up that road.

Great to see what the opposite corner of the country looks like! I'll get out there one of these days. I just had to check in & thank you. By the way, my best buddy as a boy was a black & white border collie named "Skippy" !

I'm hoping to do a similar trip again next month, only I'd like to make it a little further this time, maybe even up into Utah. It's getting a little harder to do some things though, and planning (and dreaming) seems to be the easiest!
