okay, my folks are from horsepasture, my gramps worked the prison yard, I used to go to the old country store before it was re-built, the other relatives come from applewood road(george trailer park) from way back when. I bet you know my relatives.

NCredneck, LXstroker and I could meet you in Madison or Danbury if that's where everyone wants to go.

So who's gonna be the first one to post up a GPX with some dirt and gravel mixed in?
Can definitely meet in Danbury, just read another inmate is in the Horsepasture, VA area, that is my summertime home w/ gramma. We can at least meet up and ride some good back roads (paved for now) in northern stokes/southern patrick counties.

Have not made up my mind yet. Its on the last day of deer season and I still need a warmer riding jacket. Right now I'd have to say maybe.

Ok, so it's Danbury on New Year's day. Let's just meet at the restaurant. Shall we decide what time when we see what the temp is gonna be or just man up and make it for breakfast?

And stick to paved roads this time.

If it's sticking to paved roads I may be in depending on how cold it is. >40 I'm in, <40 I'll read the ride report.

If the high is below 40 I may just eat and tell some lies before going home.

i had a "step" uncle who worked at the prison. know several of the guards there now. also frequented the "old" country store often and still do as i only live 1.4 miles from there. small frikkin world.

i know/knew the georges. i do quite a bit of paint work for one of them still.

We had better check to see if danbury restuarant is going to be open on new years. The food hasn't tasted that good lately. I'd rather eat at the Dari-O in King. The Dari-O has been moved a few feet and has dine in now in King.(same parking lot)

You mean the Danbury restaurant might not have the highest quality of food? I suppose next you'll tell me the restroom has some sort of weird smell.

Doesn't matter to me where we go. Whatever the collective decides. Right now the extended forecast looks like the temperature will be decent, but a 60% chance of rain/snow showers.

Im fine with anywhere... All I need is good coffee.

I do however need to know if we are riding dirt or not. If its paved only then I am good with my trusty Sprint st.
