Haha, my girlfriend loves it when she's on the back and the front wheel comes up. I never do it on purpose with her on it, but coming up over the crest of hills while on the throttle it's hard not to carry the front wheel down the hill.

FWIW
Two recent wheelies come to mind.
The first was on the GSA. Crossing a 50mph hwy, from a stop, at a nearly blind corner. I gassed it good to get across in a hurry. Hadn't noticed that the side street I was on dropped off precipitously on the other side. Next thing I know Mr Front tire is approaching the horizon while Mr Rear tire is proving he still has torque and traction. The bike and I are fine, we made a hasty recovery. Oops #1

#2 happened on the 690. Had just done some dirt and wanted some speed. So before you know it we are going quickly on a downhill, the wide open, country lane. Key word down. Hit a small rise in the road at about 65 while still accelerating. I normally do not do 70mph wheelies. Hopefully never will again. Rode it out but, damn. I'm too old for this shit.

Lessons learned (or not) ...a wheelie might bite you in the ass when you least expect it.

Lessons for the n00b

I think there was a motard KX500 for sale in the flea market about a year ago. Looked awesome.
