Diner Updates

UPDATE: I just added 2 restaurant reviews - both GREAT!

Marilyn's Corner Cafe - 1401 Staunton Ave, Parkersburg (Off Rt 50 / only about 3 mi west of I-77)

http://www.ridingwv.com/FolderDinerR...CornerCafe.htm

Pizza House Family Restaurant - Rt 16, Harrisville (5 mi south of Rt 50 off Ellenboro exit - about 40 mi east of Parkersburg)

http://www.ridingwv.com/FolderDinerR...arrisville.htm

If you're traveling out Rt 50 west of Clarksburg, these are both easily accessible. Enjoy!

nice website, hope you don't mind a yankee from PA using it to find some new roads! I've ridden WV for the past 25 years and I'm still finding great places to explore.

Please - send some photos and short (or long) stories about some of the places. You'll be "Published" - you'll be "Famous" - you'll be a "Chick Magnet"! (Even more than you might be now)

Bikerfish - glad you like the site. That invitation is open to you, too.

Hike Report on my website

Just posted a hike report with lots (75 or so) of photos from our farm near Petersburg to the old 1-room school house in Shook Gap where my Great Grandfather taught school for many years. Shook Gap is near the South Branch Potomac River just a few miles north of Smoke Hole, and about 3 miles from our farm.

It's not a "Ride Report" and it's on a private road that is inaccessible (read: gated, locked, and posted) to the public, but there are a lot of you out there that know this area of WV and I thought you might find at least some of it interesting. So, I posted the report on my personal site:

http://www.michaelelyard.com/HIKE%20ShookGapHike.htm

Hope you enjoy the story.

Just updated: Added July events statewide. Sorry for the delay - power outage put me behind schedule this month.

Lots of interesting activities - Mountainfest Bike Rally, some country fairs starting up, and more. Enjoy!

Nice campground about 1 mile south of the Seneca Rocks Discovery Center on Rt 33 - Look for a small sign for Seneca Shadows campground run by the US Forest Service. You can read more: CLICK HERE

Have a safe trip!

Campground looks nice I'll hit it Sun. night. The Spruce Knob ride sounds like a grate ride I'll hit the highest point in WV. On the way down I'll stop at the hightest point in Pa. Thanks.
