Nice meeting you and great story...

As a former Chicagoan...I know how the winters can make you crazy.

Joe, it was nice meeting you and a pleasure to wrench on you bike...thanks for the props and the pics of my ugly mug. Sorry we couldn't have got you on the rode sooner, oh well, at least you got to take some killer pics in Galveston.

Tell your lady friend to embrace a bigger bike so that she can keep up...lol

That Leica sure does take some nice pics, I'm jelly.

Enjoy the ride and if you ever make it this way, give me a shout.

Excellent RR so far! I'll be along for the whole ride on this one as I have ben on all of the rest of your adventures. Enjoy the warmer weather and keep on with the great writing and pictures.

Given that this is winter madness 2010...

Was there a previous Winter Madness? Or are you expecting a future one? Don't worry, those of us left behind in the cold don't hate you. Some of us do think you're a wuss, though.

lens envy

when you get bored of your X1 (and I don't really hope that you will), I'll buy it off you....

Don't you just love the warm fuzzy feeling of your bike getting TLC on a clean shop floor from a shop that cares?? Cheers to Gulf Coast for taking you in and taking care of business.

Standing by and waiting. Do you have a paypal account? I would not mind sending you a couple bucks to help a fellow out in need during the Christmas season. Good luck man and great job on writing the report. Im loving it :)

Good photography as well.

Great story! Glad to see humanity still has some good left in it by all the help and good will you have witnessed on your trip.

Happy Holidays to all and to all a Good Trip !

Insane... in the best way possible!

Meander at will.

Enjoying your story telling.

Great to see a dealer treat someone like they treated you. Seeing that they are also a Triumph shop, I'll be sure to visit if I need anything on my way through next year.
