I got mine off of ebay, and it took a long time to find.
thanks for the tip on the Deflector screens
Dave
yeah, the face of the speedo was all that survived. The tach did too, but the case and the speedo was crushed. Pics are here; http://norton73.smugmug.com/gallery/513057
What I was wondering about was the wiring and the tach. On most older airheads the tach is cable driven and on the ST the tach is electrical.
Thanks
Andy

I've just discovered the thread on posting images..........and it's done my head in. Unless someone can explain this in words of no more than two syllables, I won't bother with pics.

95 Gspd

Here's a pic of the 95 GSPD that i picked up last month from a collector in Iowa who had 13 bikes and wished to get rid of a few....Lucky me !

The bike had 12,900 miles and had never been offroad. The bags had never been used. I was asked several weeks ago to dislpay it in the CycleWorld show here in Chicago in February so stop by and take a look if your at the show

Hey thanks.

Geezerbike.........Dude......... You don't really want that bike, right? I'll take it off your hands cheap just to help you out.

Seriously, that's pretty sick. What a find. Congrats!

Sold a 94 GS for to get a 90GS/PD with 14k miles. Went ahead with the driveshaft and c-clip right of the bat. It's a spittin' image o' Clanks. Had also been toying with the idea of freeing garage space and selling her but this thread has brought me back to sanity. It would be a very cold, empty garage without the PD. It makes me smile just looking at it and was WAY better on snotty back/dirt roads than the GSA. Certainly it has "character" but so far I've kept ahead of any major problems. Love it!!

i was out ridin my PD at 6am the other mornin< i don't get out much these days with a little fella and I thought what am i doin ridin this noisy peice of shit. Time for a change to a newer bike

well we headin into some of our more remote roads about 60kms later and i then thought, this is better than play station or any number of other things. Did 480kms with about 80kms of gravel, saw FA cars and had a ball.

Yeah, I'm a committed lunatic. 1989 R100GS Bumblebee in a constant state of flux. Here are a couple of pictures in it's natural element. I just installed an Enduralast 450-watt alternator and am salivating at the thought of off-road lights, heated grips, etc. Next stop: Death Valley in February!
