Here is a link to an on going project on Two Wheeled Texans. http://www.twtex.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44379

You might want to check out TWT if you haven't already. www.twtex.com There is a good dualsport subforum there.

On this site, check out the the regional subforum for Texas. There are a couple of active threads about central texas riding. http://www.advrider.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=66

I wouldn't be surprised if this thread gets moved to the Tejas regional forum, in fact.

Howdy MD,
There is lots of good dual-sport riding available, but you have to travel a ways to get to it!
The Hill Country, West Texas and East Texas are my favorites. Junction Tx, has some great county roads too.
Also the Waco and Hamilton areas are awesome!
Cheers!
PS: RDS is Austin, Tx. based.
