Why is this my current favorite pic of a GS?

Because this is the GS that we are going to be playing with after the Overland Expo.

BMW is giving us a stock bike, and Touratech is giving us the kitted-out version, and we plan to have lots of fun with both of them.

Looking forward to having more "action oriented" pics to post here in a month or so.

Cheers

Ray

38/45L They *are* BIG. I wanted pretty large as I take long trips. It will be just a top case around town.

First water crossing...

This is my new favorite...crossing the Fremont River at the start of Cathedral Valley Rd near Capitol Reef National Park:

A close-up:

And the aftermath: roadside siphoning

Nice bike, but I am not a fan of the uneven look from the back. I have the panniers with the check on the left side for the muffler. Too bad for a new model, you would think they would have the exhaust come out above the rear tire under the seat. KTM missed the boat on that too though. Not only would it make panniers look better but would help, with watter crossing...

Enjoy your new ride!

You would like the Hattech underseat exhaust then, had them on my 1150 with two full sized bags.
