Awesome photo! I agree with front page photo material...

Approximately how many miles did you get on those Heidenau tires? What air pressure did you keep them at while riding loaded? They look fairly new in the photo...

yeah, I know... who am I do perform such meaningless drudgery on my BMW...

all kidding aside, I'm wondering if I need to have a set of tires waiting for me in Alaska when I arrive there in a few weeks. I'm planning a 12k trip and hope I can get back into the lower 48 before I have to purchase a new set...

Thanks Guys for the pict.

As for the K60 Scout, they had about 6000km at that time. This was taken in September last year. I went before to Misano in July to see the MotoGP, but we decided to cross the entire Switzerland from east to west (I known, I'm living in a very small country) up to the Stelvio Pass in Italy. We took then a bit of HW till Bologna (visit of the Ducati Factory) and we hit then Misano and return. About 2'300km.

They are absolutely resistant and have quite a good grip on dry roads. On the wet, it is another story but all in all, they give me entire satisfaction up to now. Pressure is about 2.3-2.5 bar.

The next ones might be the Karoo 3...

Cheers from Lausanne...
