I do find the photo in question totally ugly. On all counts. And absolutely not funny. That's MY opinion, of course, and YMMV. As for you other photos, they're okay.

Now, if you don't mind, I WILL continue to express my concerns when needed, and I will certainly NOT get off because you say so.

Picture #4

Would you be willing to share HOW your GS got into this condition.
Perhaps we all could learn about something/some place/some practice to avoid.

Thanks.

12hrs after leaving Philip Island after the 2008 GP. It pissed down rain and blew a gale all day, sleeted on us and finally snowed on us causing us to stop and wait it out only 150km from our destination that day. Only stopped due to visibility, helmet visor kept fogging up and getting covered in snow. Then, 2km from a fuel station I ran out of fuel, got some strange looks when I laid the fully loaded GS on its side so the remaining fuel in the would trickle into the right lobe

That is a Katoom driver trying to dig her out, not me (rescued again by an Orange lover ). We lifted the front, tipped her on her side, skulled-dragged it away from the Big Crack and then lifted her back on her wheels... Not hard. She is a heavy Pig though!

And no I did not drive into it. Had a tank slapper when the front wheel slipped *away* from the rut would you believe - used gas to try and control it (check the skid marks at the rear) but it seemed to become magnetically attracted to the Big Crack.

Stopped dead it did. Lucky the forward speed was next to nothing - no damage.
