The link below says it all, a synthetic polish, which I learned about on the car forums. I do all the alloy wheels on my cars with it and they are really easier to keep clean. The brake dust just doesn't stick, I prefer Zaino for the paintwork, another synthetic polish that is just incredible for shine and protection. No affiliation with either.

It was on the DARC VI ride out of Henniker, NH. Where exactly those pictures were taken, I'm not sure; we rode some Class VI roads and some OHRV trails, I believe, but I was mostly focused on trying to keep the bike upright and following the guy in front of me.

just found this site...great place....just a pic to show other attributes of the GS line! I raced this in AHRMA back in the mid '90's and DID NOT embarrass myself or the bike! I did run better rubber and only the pegs/brake/shift levers dragged, if the heads touched I was on my ass. Wish I had some of my stand up wheelie photos to post!

I saw you race at Road America in the late '90's. Never saw anything like it and if I remember correctly, you chained your bike to the light post for the evening. I still have a picture of you and the bike in my wallet. You were pretty much the reason I bought a GS.

HA! i remember you, can't remember if we met at Mid O or Grattan, but i DO remember you pulling a photo out of your wallet!! ..my wife couldn't believe i had 'groupies' at those races!!

Good on you buying a GS, i love mine and treat it like a $ .50 working girl....its been a pretty good bike. But i've stepped away from the Rally thing and have spent most of my riding time on an R6 on track...only avg 1k a year on GS...but shes always waiting & willing...
