Talking

Hello everybody,

My first post here and introduction of my dear GS12, bought new last year. She's no longer looking brand new, as I took her to offroad trip in China and Kyrgystan lately ;) This is a snap from Lenin's Peak base camp.

Cheers,
Piotr

Camping on the tundra on my way to Prudhoe Bay.
And yes, that is a giant bottle of bear spray just outside the tent. Apparently the polar bears and grizzlies eat the black bears that wander this far north.

I've learned to stand on the Pegs when entering a technical
section of trail. Also, not to put your downhill foot down...

Should you keep the spray in the tent?

I have trouble finding the zip in the dark when it's 2am and I need to take a piss. I can't imagine having to find the zip, to get the bear spray, with a grizzly coming thru the roof...

Nice pics, enjoy the trip.

awcsptyltd,

Any shots of the HP2 at the WORLD FAMOUS...Telegraph Office/Springs?

PS...don't tell anybody about the SECRET U.S. military base there...called...uh...Pine Gap!

Geez...since they monitor internet traffic there...I bet they've read this message.

We have it's SISTER base located here in Mile High Denver:
It is believed to be one of the largest ECHELON ground stations and appears to be physically and operationally similar to the American signals intelligence facilities at Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado.
