You're welcome. Glad I could oblige. This was fun! Maybe I can hijack it every now and again. VERY COOL Berthoud Pass sign!

Don't forget that Frazer was an important railroad town when the Rollins Pass route was active going over the top of the mountain.

The railroad had telegraph stations along the line including one at the top- Corona Pass. And they often reported the nation's worst weather in the days when weather reports were only from RR stations.

Good tag!

The game just started in Miami. No idea what the score is. Wait it's zeros on the 3rd. Still a chance. I'm eating tacos at the in laws. Don't worry about the tag it will require no brain power.
Still after dark.
Tapatalk deleted that part of my other post during editing to add the license plate topper.

New Tag
Can I just say, I love riding at night. I hope you do too. Hot August Nights are almost over. Hit the canyons this evening let the floorboards grind a bit. Just some sprinkles, lots of lightning, no traffic. Did not want to come home.

So, to grab this tag, your pic must be at night from inside the "ring of fire". I don't care where, pick a county and go for it. Let this round of speed tag begin. Maybe. :-)

This guys stuff comes up often when I search for tags?

I'm surprised to find that somebody didn't snap this up last night. I had just finished half a glass of whiskey when I saw the tag, or I would have buzzed into Aurora for a quick grab.

Plays with bombs, won't ride at night in the city

One of those links gives you the location for a great spot, camera phone friendly, no traffic. 285 from federal west to wadsworth is rotomilled, just a heads up
And if you want a little fun, my route from last night.

285 head west. Sunset at 7:45. Get pic from inside ROF.
Continue 285 to Parmalee Gulch. North to Bear Creek
Turn left follow road to 73, heading South
Right at Brook Forest around Shadow Mtn back to 73
Head south on 73, cut under 285 and pick up Pleasant Park.
Pleasant park, high grade, Deer Creek,
Deer Creek North to Turkey Creek past the west side of Mt Lindo and back to 285 again.
Just a little loop to keep the mind straight.
I might be at the spot tonight at sunset again

Denver drivers already try and crush me during the day so I really don't wanna know what'll happen at night, haha.

I think it started off with talking about the area as being as pleasant as one of the circles of hell from Dante's Inferno and at some point it picked up a back beat and became the Ring of Fire as we went down, down, down and the flames rose higher.

Oh sure, I finally get a bike I'm comfy taking to the dirt and you move the tag to the ring of fire. I see how it is.

yeah don't forget the Mount Lindo Cross, otherwise anywhere inside the ROF will be fine.. In fact I'm hoping a camera guy can make a long distance tag out of this?
