iPad test ride

Went for a ride to shoot a bit of video today as a test for the forum uploading capabilities of the iPad I got for Christmas.

This is an old road in rural Blount County near Skyball Mountain.

So... Here goes

Nah, he's just testing the Ipad to except the video from his helmet cam. Then uses the Ipad to post to ADVrider.

I shot the video using a Contour HD helmet cam, then downloaded the video to my iPad, uploaded to YouTube from the iPad, then used the YouTube video editing feature to trim and paste three video clips into one video with transitions.

16GB Wi-fi + 3G... So far I like it!

Got me a 16g - the 3G. The keyboard takes some getting used to, but otherwise, it's awesome. Love the mobility.

FYI - Apple makes a wireless full size keyboard that synchs perfectly with the ipad or iphone.

i don't knooooow. i think something went wrong. made you guys look like you were riding extremely slow. i hear some firewalls interfere with video uploads.

I love my iPad but haven't tried to do anything that "intense" with it like uploading videos. For more serious stuff, I picked up an 11.6" MacBook Air.
