He bought this bike with his own money as a "fixer upper" that he can ride and learn to wrench on. Part of owning is he will buy parts and wrench on it himself. We are going through it together and having fun! I am very proud of the young man he is becoming.

Looks like a great idea for the CARB nozzles we have to deal with in California. I'd like to get one or more and sent a PM.

Thanks

Wicked Semi-HiJack

Seems word's finally getting around, KJ - Kool!

Your SHawk's doing fine, btw, and I come home grinning every time I ride it. Pic was taken at a "Picnic Area" on US69 just South of Greenville, TX, in September, 'bout 3/4 of the way through an impromptu 400-mile loop starting ~3A. It was still really, really hot out (I recorded 123.8degF back in July!) but the bike temp never got high enough to put the aux fan on continuous run though it did hit 220degF a few times, for a few moments. Slow down and it'd drop right back down.

I almost always have to let someone ride one of the bikes if I want company on a ride; that "work" thing folks talk about fouls everything up! Most of the other ol' retirded pharts I know either don't ride or can't ride or, if they do, trailer their bikes somewhere like Branson, Mo, and ride from "has-been-Star-music-hall" to "has-been-Star-music-hall." I don't know a single other one who likes to strap camping gear on and just take off. Shame, that!

Little ride to spend Turkey Day with my daughter & g-sons planned - should be nearly 4Kmi by the time I get back home in early December. There's an EFN in the little "handy pocket" of that tankbag on the Brick.

Still nothing from Ari, btw; he must have a decade's worth of material squirreled away.

Best to the luvverly Mrs. KJ and the keeds!

It's interesting with the tool, I was in the doldrums for a couple of months but since my last 'bump' with the video clip it seems to have caught on again. I need to make more.....

Thanks for the update. That's a really nice K Bike you got there, congrats.
It's still kinda weird to see the VTR but it's great to know that it ended up with you.
BTW, does that tailbag affect the cooling at all ?

Wife and kids are doing fine, as am I.

Been using this Nozzle Tool, and it helps alot!

I like thats its plastic cause if you bump the tank during fill-ups, it won't scratch it.

Great tool, and great idea.

I got one of these gadgets and tried it for the first time yesterday. It's dead simple and works great. If you live where you have to deal with EFN nozzles do yourself a favor and have Kai Ju send one to you.
