cleatus, well done!!!

What is the angle on your down tubes? If you put the down tubes vertical what is the angle of the old frok tubes?
Gotta do something with my rig and yours looks great!

I've have no idea as I just looked at the added piece held in place with just the stock tubes installed in tree then cut angle I marked. After that I laid out where the axle's trail would be and then moved 1 3/4" forward for new location.

I'll try to check degrees of angle tomorrow.

After Reta told me sunday morning that I had better just plan on the rig being my toy, as she felt that it would be best for her neck not to ride, I started setting the hack up to haul non chair bound passengers. Everything can be altered in short order.

What about a large goldwing-type windshield on the front to cut windblast and a neckroll to help support her head & neck?

Yeah, no wind from the front and a support in the neck wouldn't be too hard to make would it ?
Would be great to see your wife in the hack, riding along with a big smile !!

Lisa and Nitro, windshield and headrest are easy to do, a neck brace/roll is not something she would be willing to wear. After 33 years I have learned I have little chance of changing her mind after she has made a decision, but I have not gave up.

Took a little time Saturday and changed the nose on the car. It was a small chore to fit all 5 pieces of 1/8" flat anodized aluminium, but I like the results.

After several months and 100 plus mile trips, I think this is the best and most enjoyed project that was ever built by me.

I have much fun every time I take the rig out, whether it's gravel roads or paved secondary. What a blast and conversation piece.

I saw the pic of your wife in the sidecar. What did you use to hold the chair in place? My guess ratchet straps. I never felt comfortable riding on a bus or in a van in my wheelchair with the low back. I imagine it was uncomfortable in the sidecar. My cheeks would be puckered together!

Jules, it went back together yesterday and this morning as it dropped an exhaust valve seat three weeks ago.

I found the reason it locked up. This happened in one revolution at start.

As it was hanging at start this morning.

I just need to replace the positive bolt on the solenoid and hook up a couple wires before the next ride. Got to do this hill.

good...

You're a good good husband.
Made me smile to see the Guzzi up in the air, reminded me of changing clutches on mine, makes it so much easier.
BUT I would sure like it if you put a couple of gussets where the leading link legs join the round fork tubing.
Nice machine, there.
