Route from Austin to Southern MD

I am looking at doing a coast to coast this spring and would like to find a route from Austin to MD without doing any interstate. I have 3 days to cover the 1400 miles, so I will have to keep moving. I am on an '07 GS.

Because of the time and distance to cover I don't want to hit any dirt. Maybe on my next C2C.

Looking for nice rides with some interst, either small towns, scenery or just making time off the slab.

Not much help: but in Charlottsville, VA pick up RT231-->RT 20-->RT3-->RT 301.

The RT 20 runs right by Monticello and throught a few civil war battlefields. Relatively high speed 50MPHish, and nice rolling country.
