Top report and pictures.

Do you mind sharing what type of camera you have? The shots look great.

Nice Pics and very informative! .....

Heading over there in April, albeit in the 4WD, however your Ride Report was very informative and gives a good insight into what's in store over there.
They are obviously out to cash in on the tourist dollar with all the Park fees, hey? You took some great shots there. Looking forward to seeing what type of gear you use ... as requested in the previous post.
Great report. Well done!

Hi Rob

I've followed a few of your exploits via your ride reports! I especially enjoyed your postie bike epic. Having recently just had my first ride on a postie bike I'm even more in awe than I was

As for the camera, it was another xmas present (to myself), one of these a Sony Tx5:

It takes great shots for what is essentially a point and shoot style camera but has a few really good features that make it a good camera for bike/boat/outdoor type use. The main thing is that it is water, dust and shock proof. Not quite as rugged as the Panasonic Lumix but it has excellent low light ability and the built in panoramic mode (no stiching required) is great.

Here's a review

I got mine online for $300 delivered (around $200 cheaper than available locally)

ps This was Paul's first trip without the Sherpa.. the DR didn't seem to need to lie down as much for rest
