2010 KTM 530 EXC; Lost/stolen/misplaced? Mountain View, CA

I came across this bike at a tech company secure parking lot. Its been abandoned in one form or another. I would like to help the owner recover it, if at all possible. It's only 2 years old (production date 11/09), looks to be well loved early on and then left to sit for a year or more judging on the layer of dust! Hopefully someone recognizes it!

Identifying features are:
-Scuderia license plate frame (plate missing)
-Acerbis desert tank
-Cycra hand guards
-roll chart
-KTM folding mirrors
-black waterproof saddle bags, similar to Ortlieb
-orange & black tank bag, similar to Ortlieb

*If this is the wrong place to post, I apologize.

Isn't that what the Police are supposed to do?

I know it's not a high priority, but hopefully they can trace it throught the VIN.

+1 on the police.

if you work at this company and have seen this bike sitting for at least 45 days you might think about calling the police.

It's in a gated underground parking lot, so the Security company would have to call them in.

The more I think about it the more I'm wondering if it was left there by an out of country worker. Seems a shame for it to sit there. Kinda thinking it would be nice to find the owner and purchase.

Well if you ever find my bike sitting around like that..... Call me first!

I just got my "65" Mustang back a few weeks ago after being stolen 25yrs ago.

Just grab the vin number off the frame and make a call to a friend in law enforcement who rides. He can do a quick check.

I too do not like to see a bike that is clearly out of place for Mtn View sitting..... Dusty... Not been moved for awhile.

Wow. Was that in Ventura County?

I always thought if insurance paid, they owned the vehicle and I would never hear about it.

I had liability insurance only at the time. I lived near Buena High school in Ventura and just figured it had been parted out and destroyed. Got lucky.
