is riding in Morocco still safe?

Hi,
I'm planning some riding there soon I am a little bit apprehensive after this Tunisia attack. Anybody returned from Morocco recently to share some experience?

I have been in Morocco in the begin of April and I can tell that it's safe. The only "big" city I went was to Marrakesh and even there I felt safe.

No probs to ride in Morocco!

Beware the speeds limits, policemen are everywhere and stops you!
In the main cities dont leave your motorbike outside, try to find a motopark with a guy and you will have no probs!

Enjoy the ride!

Just got back last Friday
There are check points at every entrance and exit of each town, speed traps to go along with . Coastal Morocco is cooler . I recommend Essaouira , beautiful as always, Marrakesh is trendy but too warm for my liking.

Safe travel

Was there last year hitchhiking and felt safe there. Got pulled over with some Germans or Danish driving. They pretended they didn't understand English, what the police were saying and got off from a speeding ticket.

Safer than any european country!

Hi! I'm from Barcelona but I'm living in Merzouga, south Morocco, for three years.

I'm organizing every end of year the annual event Ride To Roots Meeting ( http://www.ridetoroots.com/en/blog/r...s-meeting-2014 ), in the Moroccan desert. Also the AFRICA TRAIL RAID ( www.africatrailraid.com ), in October.

Also I'm guiding riders from anywhere through the desert with trail and maxi-trail bikes. So, I can say you, Morocco is safer than any European country I know!
