Help in downloading tracks to map source

I have a computer, pc, with vista, and can not figure out how to download the tracks to map source so i can transfer to my Garmin etrex.
I am computer illiterate, so please understand my dilemma.

Would like to add to my Missouri topo map.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Do you have MapSource on your computer? 1) Left click "Download Here" 2) You should get a menu with "Open" and "Save" left click "Open" or "Save" 3) If you clicked "Open" right click the file. If you clicked "Save" Go to the file and open it.

Or, download (save) the file to your desktop. Open Mapsource and then minimize the window and grab the file and drag it onto Mapsource. Look for the "Send to Device" icon in mapsource and send it to the etrex.

Dirt Percentage?

Hey guys, this thread is awesome.

I want to ride this route across the state at the first inkling of good weather. Me and the KLX250 (soon to be KLX351) and I want to avoid pavement... singletrack>dirt>gravel>pavement

Any idea what percentage of time is spent on each type of surface?

Thanks for all the help and insight.
