The hardest part is remembering the course. Technically this is kinda basic/easy...

I went and watched the competition last year, it was kind of cool.
After hanging out there for a while you realize that, yes, remembering the course is the hardest part. Most interesting moment was the 2 man run where the clock starts when the first guy crosses the line and stops when the second guy crosses the finish. Cop #2 on his RTP came in to the finish a little hot, and the ABS engaged, but he didn't stop in time to avoid the distinctive crunching sound of BMW parts on RTP #1 getting turned into debris. 200 sets of cop eyes staring in that direction, a low "OOOH" kind of sound, and then complete, eerie, silence as the two officers rode slowly back to their staging area. |

Being a Harley Tech I've seen a lot of motor cops. By and large they are some riding mofos. Practice, practice, practice. I like to take dressers out back on the Riders Edge course and wail around.

Sweet
Hearing the throttle would be nice. He's definitely smooth.
I was tempted recently to try some slalom in the traffic cones dividing the lanes on a five mile long bridge I ride daily. The lane work was all the way at the other end of the bridge but there are cameras and no escaping short of going to the end of the bridge. Some day.
