At the end of a two and a half week school about 90% could do the course-until you hit the stopwatch. The presure of pass- fail really puts the monkey on their back. And if you REALLY want to see some screw ups, watch a rider when he has to do the entire course with blue lights and siren; you get to pick up alot of cones.

are you suggesting cops can't ride their bikes/cars safely because of ls ?

No, the lights and sirens add the stress by causing an extra adrenaline dump. When I went through on my Road King, did it just riding and then again with the all the woo woo just to mark the difference. Quite a bit different, even the top dogs added a few seconds and cones to their times.
