Laugh Thank you note

I just wanted to say, thank you.,, well and show what I made using some of your tecniques.
https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/phot...eat=directlink

I built the tail fairing from scratch using the pink foam and epoxy with fiberglass to build thickness then the last layer is blue kevlar.
I bought blue and white, but the white part was fiberglass and it turned clear when I wet it with the epoxy.
This a link to the album showing the build in progress

Johnny

A long term update.....
After banging the boxes around, for a few years, I just took them off to sand down the cheap clear coat spray lacquer off. It was worthless, and had browned in the desert sun. I saw, as expected, that there were the beginning of wear marks on the boxes, with the SS hardware. A simple fix I though would be to just lay down a strip of K-39 ( Kevlar) Only thing is it is very hard to cut, and usually frays a little, so I cut a wider piece, and folded it 3 times, and brought out the sowing machine, and stitched it. Then simply just laid down the resin soaked strips, on the contact area, and re installed the boxes. The SS rack's contact point was treated with release agent, and it is now curing in the 16 deg. F. desert sun..... In the middle of feb...... Ahhhhhh.

.... Those evil, elusive Croc's have been....ehhhh... quite mentioned..... Finally I caught the bastards,as they allowed a few spines from my fishhook cactus through. At that time, party was over for the crocs.....

Thanks for the encouraging words....

The carbon fiber kind of offsets the pink crocs.
