New battery installed June 2011, Runs Good, all lights / electrical work, will start on first or second kick. Carb is still a little dirty, likes to run with a little choke. 17k mi, Clear Md Title. Mileage has gone up about 50 mi or so, as I have been riding it some.

Granted, it's 35 years old, but it's pretty impressive to think that little dirtbike has been ridden nearly 17,000 miles.

On a 250 dirtbike no less! At my pace I know my WR will be good for another 10 years.

$1500 OBO seems pretty good for an old Triumph, albeit a smaller one.

OK EC, do 25K on this one. Fuel-injected, 6 speeds don't count!

Saw that, was very tempted to add that to my collection.

You know, I've never really heard a bad word about the DR350 - other than the fact they stopped making them. This looks like a pretty sweet ride for $1200.

Somebody should buy this

http://baltimore.craigslist.org/mcy/2434671014.html

97' BMW R850R naked 96,k+ miles - $1750 (Baltimore City)
This is a 1997 R850R BMW dual paint Silver and Black, that runs great. This bike was used in the 1996 Atlanta Summer Games, participant placard 19 of 105. Yes this bike has wear, and needs some tlc.
This bike has BMW wind Screen, Al Jesse bags, K&N air filter, PIAA head lamp bulb and Odyssey battery! Brake pads and Metzeler Z6 tires about a year old.

Well, I think the BMW is cooler than this. Frankly, pretty much anything is cooler than this. But I hear great things about them (apart from looks) and the price is right ($1500):

I love the R bikes, but I already have a naked standard in my K75. What I don't have is a tupperware covered touring bike. 'Cept I'm pretty sure I don't want a tupperware covered touring bike. (But maybe not totally sure).

Has 8(EIGHT) powerbands!! Wooooo!! Brrraaaapp!

http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/mcy/2430258001.html

VERY FAST KX250 TWO STROKE!! HAS 8 POWERBANDS! MINT!! - $950 (Bucks County)

Date: 2011-06-09, 12:20PM EDT

This bike is ridiculously fast. Brand new powerbands installed and pops wheelies in every gear. I hit wicked jumps on this thing and dont use an air filter so I can get max air flow to hit the jumps when im 5th gear tapppppeeeddd! I drag race Corvettes and beat them all day long. I took off the front fender because I like to inspect the condition of my front tire while doing boner airs. Front and rear tires are absolutely bald, but thats good for drag racing on the street and chicks love it. Im selling the bike because I'm going to try to make it to the xgames for FMX... I dont think Deegan can match my one-footer (shown below) or bar turns. For free I'll throw in a partially snapped rear fender, my brand new MX boots (Timberland workboots from WalMart), a HJC helmet (with no visor, of course---Metzger style), and sick neon pink and blue MX pants. If interested call or text me at (215)-666-****. I dont check email because I always ride so hard all day and practice my rooster-tails.
***WARNING***: This bike is not for beginners, and might even be too fast for Jimmy Stewart or Richard Karmichal.
