High Fender for 990 ADV?

Hi All,

Can somebody tell me what is required for fitting a high fender to a 990 ADV?

I believe the 690R/950SE fender is the part to use, right? I already have a spare one of those... just wondering what else is required beyond the fender itself

TIA

It works just fine if you don't confuse it - single word searches are best.

Alternatively you can do what you did and we'll post results...but we might just bust yer balls a little along the way.

Geez you guys are getting mean You could say "Go Search!" to almost anything at this point as in some context it has all been covered...

I did exactly what this guy did a couple years ago and could not be happier with it. I even used the same part numbers. I did move the brake lines outside the forks but that seems to be a personal preference more than anything else.

just last month

I bought Taurkon's parts list a month or two ago and did the install. I used two of my old screws in addition to the ones in his list. Be prepared to use a heat gun on the male slider fork guards to get them to bend to fit the mounting points on the 990 fork ends. Oh yeah, and I drilled a couple of extra holes for those extra screws.

If you would like a picture of the area described above, let me know and I'll take and post one.

I am very happy with how it turned out. I owe Taurkon a beer or three.
