We'll be on a street bike . Probably 50/50 split of camping and motels. By the way Eakins , your maps look great , expect to sell me a couple soon !

I have ridden my area for over 30 years and he still manages to surprise me with some tasty stretch of twisties. And I know a lot of roads.

THATs why I wear the tie dye.....keeps me on the fringe. ...& it's legal.
We've all got our "necessary evils" to deal with so we can "partake" in the "paved pleasures & gravelly goodness" that is Motorcycling Mecca (...there...how was that?) Come ride if ya can.

The roads

Sounds like these guys are gonna have a killer map when it's all done.

Many of our paved goodies to include....

UPDATE...
I've seen the other maps Butler offers & let me just say this.....FANTASTIC JOB!!! Lots o detail...quality printing materials...

We're in for a treat when the Texas Butler Hill Country map(s) are ready for the public. Think of the "Mad Maps" offerings, but different parameters & ..I think...easier to use. GET READY FOLKS... they'll be done before ya kno it.

Looking for pics asap for THC map.

the colors are not that good on the pics we took because of the time of year. we're looking for either fall foliage colors or green spring colors. we'd like to see a water crossing or a low bridge shot or something cool like that if possible. it must be on a paved road as this is a paved road map. a decently high res. image is needed but please post any low res here and i'll pm ya about it. all of the butler maps folks will be checking this thread for submissions. i know we need a cover shot plus maybe 1 or 2 for inside the map. we'll send you a map if we can use you pic.
a BIG thanks!
bill

Repost of gist of this thread on TWT

At Bill's request,I reposted the main bits of this thread over on TWT forum so we could see about getting more pic submissions for the map. I think it would be great to have pics from our local Texas riders shown on the map.
Ya'll send em in......or post either way

A picture of a bike on the bridge over the Medina River just east of Medina would be awesome! Its one of the prettiest rivers in the hill country. No, I don't have one....yet.

April and early May are when the colors POP in the hill country. I love the wild flowers, they bring out my feminine side.
