Spring ride at the farm?
So, Chain, have you thought about a date for a spring ride? I'm trying to get my travel calender for the year set up. The sooner you decide, the better.
Don't forget about the SLAP rally May 13-15 near Chadwick, Missouri. I have to go to this one, I'm one of the organizers!

Last year it was the 1st weekend in April, at least my pictures all say 4-03-04. That might be a tough weekend this year since Easter is 3/27, kids will be off the following week.

I love it, winter ride ain't even on the books and we are plannning a spring ride.
Long live the Chaingolians. My kids spring break is sometime in March and all three will be gone. If I take off that week I may as well stay gone. I don't see any other blackout dates yet. Anyone else? How is the Shoulder Jim, you be able to ride come spring, should we try to plan around you getting back on the horse? Gives us a good excuse to keep naming rides after the recently broken now healed members of the tribe.

Lets try to get it on the calendar.
Either the second or third weekend of April would work well for me. After that work gets crazy again for about 6 weeks. That would be April 8-11 or 15-17. Do any of these dates work for you Chain? The creek should be high and the roads clear.

The only event on my calendar that's firm, so far, is May 27-30 for the Trans America Trail in TN.

One other thing to schedule around. Team Redneck is putting on a spring feed. He can't decide to do it the weekend of the SLAP or in April. I would sure hate to miss the spring farm ride if it's the same weekend of Team Redneck's feed.
