I don't know the bike seems to have a pretty happy rider just the way it is.

This is my brother and his bikes, back home. There's TX650 on right. I think it is 72. He bought it new back then.

Below is mine, bought it last year. XS650.

You and your brother have great taste in bikes. Is that a 73 KZ-900 behind him?

Thank you!
He didn't have that Kawasaki the last time I was there (13years ago).
So I don't know if it is 900 or 750.

I know he raced in Suzuka on that silver one last weekend.
He emailed me saying that he managed not to be the dead last and also didn't crash either.

The 'TX' in the background looks more like a '74 TXA, would that be right?, colour & graphics are what I'm going on
Your bike looks like a '75 XS650B, again just going on colour & graphics, looks like old bikes have a firm hold everywhere!
Cheers

He's 10 years older than me and model year for that bike is based on my child hood memory only. If you say that bike is 74, then it may well be that.

Out & about on the local dirt roads on Thursday

Even stopped for a coffee along the way & met these guys there

XR600, KTM990, GS800 & KTM625?, showed them around some backroads, love it when dirt bikes have to follow my old '81SH
Cheers

Do us all a favor and DON'T touch that thing. First gen XS650s (70-72) are becoming super rare; especially the kick only 70/71 years. I have a 71 and don't plan on doing anything with it anytime in the near future. +1 on those tires...had those on my CB750 and always wore very well.
